Mark 13:31,
"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but
my words shall not pass away." Notice that the verse says "words" plural. This means that the Lord is not just talking about the Bible in general. Every dot of every “i” and every cross of every “t” shall be preserved. Not one jot or tittle shall be removed or fail to exist. This is comforting to God's people today that even with all the destruction and misery that we see, we can rest assured that the promises of God are yea and amen. (II Corinthians 1:20) They do not change, and will never cease in their existence. One comforting stanza from a hymn says, "When change and decay and all around I see, O Thou who changest not abide with me." Amen and amen, even so come quickly Lord Jesus.
