June 16 - 22, 2013 (3rd Weekend – Sunday through Friday Night)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Lord willing, once again there will be a singing school held at Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Houston, Texas during the week of June 16 through June 22, 2013.  It is a week devoted to learning and singing the hymns sung in the formal worship of our Lord.  We intend to remain focused singularly on this task, with no extra activities except enjoying fellowship one with another.  We invite brothers and sisters of all ages to join us in learning, singing, and fellowship together in our Lord.  We encourage families to come together - parents as well as children.  Through the years, by the blessing of the Holy Spirit, this endeavor has been a benefit to the Grace Church, as well as sister Churches whose members have attended.  We are so thankful to have Brother Ron and Sister Carolia Johnson and their family to teach again this year.

The buildings and facilities will again be used to accommodate those wishing to stay at night.  There are a limited number of twin sized mattresses for those who do not have their own portable beds.  Remember to bring pillows and blankets.  There are some RV hook-ups on the property as well.  Please contact me to reserve one of these.

During the singing school the dress will be casual, but appropriate.  In keeping with the setting and purpose, and in respect to the Church, our conduct and appearance is to be modest and God-honoring, so that we are a good example to others.  If there could be any question about the appropriateness of a clothing item, please leave it at home.  Friday night will continue to be the time to wear clothing appropriate for Sunday worship services.

We are looking forward to a wonderful week of fellowship one with another, of learning together, and of singing praises to the Lord.  Should you feel the desire, donations will be greatly appreciated.  If you cannot be with us please join us in praying that the Lord bless our efforts, and that all is done to the praise of His Holy name.

In Love for Christ and His Church,

Elder Mike Moseley
